Nahatan Street near State Route 1
Nahatan Street West approaching Route 1. Speed Limit posted at 30, normal traffic speed 40-45. Over crest of hill, behind trees, cop out of car with handheld radar. Road is NOT marked for two lanes, but traffic routinely uses two lanes due to large road width, and the fact that if you drive 30 mph, cars will pass on right to get around you before Route 1 rotary. Radar is present over 50% of time.
Winter Street near Highland Cemetery
Officer sits in cemetery at the Norwood/Westwood line and gets you coming into Norwood. Speed drops from 35 to 30.
Washington Street near Parking Lot
He sits in the parking lot of the local swimming pool and play ground area on Washington Street. This area is between Mylod Street and Alandale parkway. It is mostly a residential area but there is some businesses. It’s next to the middle school so you could get bagged with a speeding in a school zone fine.
State Route 1 near Dean Street
Sits in the Staples parking lot looking at the intersection of Route 1 (South) and Dean St.
Gay Street near Third Street
The police are constantly watching traffic and are harsh about tickets
