Shrewsbury, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Since the road was repaved, almost daily about 2 weeks ago, at least twice a day, between 2-4 cops have a trap set up with 1-2 guns & 2 chasers! Speed limit is 30, and they are enforcing it!

There is always a MA Trooper buried in the median early morning…So buried he’s probably just sleeping….EVERYDAY! FYI.

Police park at the water tower behind row of trees on Northbound side. Will ticket you for 20 in a school zone even when school is out.

This is a State Police DUI roadblock, usually Saturday nights between 10pm & 3am….east bound, right at the Lake Quinsigamond Bridge, Shrewsbury side in the White City parking lot. EVERY vehicle is pulled over, tow trucks will be lined up, hand held breathalyzers used on everyone!

Just pass the White City Plaza on to Quinsigamond Ave South, there is an access road down the lake. A cop car always parks at the entrance to the access road. So watch out. I have seen people getting nailed all the time. I know to avoid the trap because of this. To be safe, once pass Rt 9, drive within 5 miles of the 30MPH speed limit, which is really slow and lots of car speed 10 miles above that.
