South Hadley, Massachusetts Speed Traps
There are speed traps from the entrance to Rte 202 all the way up to the Granby town line on Rte 116, but the most predictable ones are as follows:
1. High School Parking Lot Entrance (across from the Fire Dept)
2. Florist’s Parking Lot (across from the High School)
3. Leaping Well North (corner of Brainerd & 116) usually in one of the drive ways near there
4. The bank parking lot entrance near Gaylord St
There is a cutout in the bushes on the left just before the bridge. Both Local and State Police back into there and wait until it is too late.
Entire length of East St. has many curves and hills and the State and local police are constantly monitoring its speed limits. Most places it’s 35 mph with a few spots at 25 mph
