Bloomfield, Michigan Speed Traps

Cops park hidden on side of road just west of Adams on North side of Square Lake, near I-75 entrance/exit. Anytime of day – especially like lunch time.

If you are heading North on Woodward right at the Birmingham/ Bloomfield line as soon as you pass the Hamilton Hotel and it gets dark, slow down! I have seen both Birmingham and Bloomfield cops in this area. They sit on Wimbleton or they back against the guardrail and turn off their lights.

Speed limit is only 25MPH and at 29MPH you’ve tripped their trigger. Cops are on side street AND in RESIDENT’S driveways. This stretch is a Cash Cow for Bfld Twpship.

There are no police "hideouts" on this route, however, this stretch of road is heavily patrolled with both marked and unmarked vehicles.

Bloomfield Hills (White Cars) and Bloomfield Township (dark blue cars) will patrol this area from time to time. Sometimes they sit in the middle median scanning both sides of the street. There is also a Baptist Congregation on the west side of Telegraph where a cop will sit. There is also a road right beside the old Bill Knapps restaurant that a police car will sit.
