Grosse Ile, Michigan Speed Traps

As you are coming on the island you will come to a stop light – Approximately 300 yards on the left he sits hidden behind tall shrubs. Speed limit is 35 and it is enforced!!! It is right across from the Golf Course and people tend to look at the course and lose track of speed.

Police hide at the intersection of Coleman and South Point.
They are especially vigilent after a function at the Ford Yacht Club after a party. The speed limit is 25 mph. The only sign posted is not visible during the summer because of tree branches. They also hide at the circle intersection of Elbamar, Chatham and South Point.

As you are coming south/north on East River Rd. or east on church, There is a cop sitting in the back corner of the church lot behind a tree/bush on East River. Be careful 30 is posted and 40/45 is usual.

Sit on corner behind Tall shrubs, mostly at night and weekends. Barely visible at night.
