Midland, Michigan Speed Traps

Trap may occur either direction. This area is newly paved and 5 lanes wide so going the posted 35mph seems absurd and its easy to do 45mph since other Rds. in Midland like this and crossing with this St. are posted at 45mph. Enforcement ususaly sits in the parking lot of a church on Saginaw Rd. between Trinity Ct & Crescent Dr., or in the Barstow Woods parking lot on Saginaw Rd. betweem St. Andrews Rd and Manor Dr. Sometimes the officers get out of the car and hand hold rador guns while hiding behind trees, especially at the park parking lot trap.

Traveling from Midland to Mount Pleasant along M-20, constant surveillance, and tickets are handed out regularly. Everytime I have been on M-20, I have seen at least one vehicle that has been pulled over, if not two or three.

The road has a bend and a hill and it is hard to spot a police car until they have spotted you.

Midland County Sheriff’s car often sits next to the Gordonville Grocery 4 miles south of M20. They back in and are behind the line of vision and get many people on
Meridian Road.

Police car sits regularly at this bar and catches many speeders each day.
