Midland, Michigan Speed Traps

If you ever take Perine road off of Wackerly, going toward saginaw, or vice versa. Watch out there are always cops haning out in either the church parking lot, or school, they will get you.

The trap starts on Indian Rd., going west toward M-20 where the speed limit goes from 40 to 30 MPH. Indian Rd. is a one way rd. Going from M-20 toward Midland proper on Buttles (another one way), consider the entire rd. a speed trap until you reach the 40 MPH sign. Enforecement is VERY HIGH at night after dark. Police hang out on the side streets and clock drivers as they pass.

One officer will stand, with a radar gun, hidden behind a light post just outside of Barstow Park, where approx. 5 cruisers are waiting to be told via radio what vehicles he has caught speeding. They usually have about 2 pulled over at a time.

Police will constantly sit under this overpass, where they are hidden to northbound US 10 traffic. The overpass is right before the Business 10 exit if you are going north on US 10. If you are going south on US 10, you will see them right after the traffic merges on from Business 10.

Police car usually hides point east on the intesection towards Sturgeon Rd. There is a school nearby so most people are generally slow but during weekends I’ve seen them there enforcing 25mph.
