Northville, Michigan Speed Traps

Patrol car usually sitting in the parking lot of Our Lady of Victory Church or on the side of the road on Main Street. Speed limit signs are posted (25 mph) and Main Street is a residential street. Please watch your speed on this street.

Police Located in both Gas Stations at intersection

The Police hide in the adjacent elementary school parking lot or in the shadows created by the bend in the road. There is a 1.5 mile stretch where the limit drops to 40mph (down from 45mph).

Northville Twp. police sit off the road at most any time. The speed limit is 50 mph but many people push it to 60 or more. Not unreasonable but just be aware. Set your speed control to just under 50. Sometimes there are two of them spread apart.

It seems that at the end of each month this spot gets more attention from law enforcement. Said law enforcement will sit at the bottom of a hill just north of City Park at 8 mile and Napier. Speed limit is 40mph, so watch out.
