US Highway Old 27 near Sturgis Street
Northbound Old 27 through Saint Johns, a few hundred feet north of second traffic light at Sturgis street. Buildings change from commercial type to houses…two large churches on the left, law enforcement sits in old 65th District courthouse parking lot on right side of 27, usually radaring northbound traffic. Drops from 45 to 35…and they’ll get you.
State Route M-21 State St near Just W. of city limit sign
Speed lowers quickly and for really no specific reason at that point but to enhance traffic enforcement. They hide on the north side of street in various places, and the "prey" come right to them!
US Highway 127 near Junkyard
Highly sophisticated state police traps! Look out for all of the cars on the sides of the road in the 55mph zone on 127. The cops will park in the groups of cars for sale and shoot away with lasers. Don’t go over 65 unless you want a ticket!

The speed limit turns from 45 to 35 and they watch in the church for you. Then they give you a ticket for 5- 10 over depending on the officer.
