Warren, Michigan Speed Traps

Unmarked car either Macomb Sheriff, State Police, or Warren Police, parked in the left (high speed lane) shoulder between the Mound & Van Dyke curves heading east. There are several overpasses that sheid any overhead light making them very difficult to see, day or night.

Speed limit is 25 miles per hour between 12 mile road & I-696. If you went 30 miles per hour in that area that would be efficient enough.

Nine Mile Rd. has been recently resurfaced between Schoenherr and Hoover. Enforcement was extremely heavy during construction but has lightened. Nevertheless, we usually see up to three motorcycles and 2 cars just pulling people over. They typically hide in business driveways. Speed limit is 35 MPH now. Was 25 MPH, and they cut you no slack!

Speed limit goes from 45 MPH to 35 MPH north of Mound between 13 mile and 14 mile roads. Tickets are issued at 5 MPH over ($100).

The cops sit in the pursuit car on the top of the entrance ramp to I 696 west bound. once you pass, its too late.
