Ada, Minnesota Speed Traps

They recently increased the speed limit on Hwy 100 and have been watching the area to make sure people are not taking advantage of the increased speed limit. At least that’s what I was told when handed a speeding ticket for going 70 in a 60 mph speed zone near 36 ave n on hwy 100.

I have witnessed several cars pulled over at once between Faribault and Owatonna. I think it started after numerous accidents occurred on this stretch a few years ago involving loose semi-trailer loads and drunk drivers. I grew up next to 35 south of Faribault and there has always been trooper activity, but not as bad as it is now! Be careful and make sure your load is secure.
