Chaska, Minnesota Speed Traps
Hwy 212 West of the Carver exit.
The speed goes from 65 to 55 after the hwy turns from 4 lane to 2 lane. The cops sit in a driveway/frontage road on the North side of the road right after it goes from 65 to 55mph. Sometimes they sit a little further down 212 also by the Mustard Seed along the Hwy.
Corner of Jonathan Carver Pkwy and Chaska Blvd
At the corner of Jonathan Carver Parkway and Chaska Boulevard there will be a State Trooper (Facing Chaska Blvd). Nine times out of ten, they’ll be in a silver or tan Chevy 4-door (I think it’s an Impala). Sometimes it’s an unmarked cruiser though.
In the parking lot at Lions Park, Crosstown Blvd.
The cops sit in the parking lot below the hill on Crosstown Blvd. They catch people speeding down the large decline which usually speeds drivers up from 30 to 45 mph by the bottom of the hill. Speed limit is 30 mph.
Hundertmark Street near trail by Dredsen Drive Trail
The patrol cars sit just behind a small knoll on the trail on Hundermark ticketing from both directions.
Chestnut/41 Boulevard near First Street
Entering in to Chaska from the Minnesota River bridge. Speed limit drops from 55 to 30 at the beginning of the bridge. Offices are often just on the other side of first street clocking people as they come over the bridge.
