Golden Valley, Minnesota Speed Traps

Golden Valley PD (state patrol) will sit on the east bound on ramp) PLEASE BE CAREFULL !!!! They SHOT TO KILL FIRST……. Then ASK QUESTIONS LATER…… They are JUDGE, JURY AND EXCUTIONER AT THIS LOCATION

30 mph zone very easy to go faster. GV police sit on shoulder with radar. East and West bound.

Both northbound and southbound traffic is effected between Highway 55 and the 42nd st. exit on North Highway 100. A state troopers headquarters is right off the Duluth St. exit, so they are ALWAYS around!

The Golden Valley police sit in the parking lot of the Golden Valley Historical society building called the "Little White Church in the Valley". The police car is parked on the east side of the building and not visible to east or west bound traffic.

MN State Patrol, Golden Valley, & St. Louis Park all patrol this stretch of Hwy heavily. East Bound 394 @ Hwy 169, officers can frequently been found just east of Hwy 169. I was unfortunate enough to have a chat with a Trooper that was standing outside of his squad in the center median against the concrete Jersey barrier. He was running LIDAR (Laser) of the east bound traffic. Golden Valley often sits in the grass median just south of the freeway. The West suburban joint speed saturation task force (MN State Patrol, Plymouth, Golden Valley, Edina, Eden Prairie, & Hennepin County) has also been seen working this area as well.
