Hermantown, Minnesota Speed Traps

Stebner Rd is a high traffic road, and the cops work it daily. Last week I saw 3 different cop cars with in 2 minutes. If you’re speeding, you will pay!

Unknown to this road, if you miss the one and only speed sign on either side, you won’t miss the patrol car. It’s a 30 MPH, 1 mile long road and I believe the only 30MPH road in Hermantown. I should know because I paid the ticket and it wasn’t cheap. The police lied to me saying the speed limit was posted several times. He’s a bald faced liar. So heed my words…..they will bust you!!!

Its a one mile stretch and you can see the cars but can’t tell if its a cop. Its a posted thirty zone but its impossible to go that slow.

Lots of Police traffic patrol in the area (actually, in the entire city!). The cops get the good equipment and use it well. I’ve had to resort to using my cruise control set at the actual speed limit.

I’ve driven this strip for the past 2 years and have been stopped more times than I’d like to admit. Seems they have a Cop running traffic all day/nite! I’ve only seen them before hand 2 times, both were moving. Where ever they are sitting, it’s a good spot. They also work with the airplane and that’s unfair on so many points.
