County Trunk 110 near Grandview Boulevard

Mound, MinnesotaOct 14, 20070 Comments

Just north of Mound on 110. The speed limit is 35, but it drops to 30 for this 1/4 mile stretch. The police like to hide behind the dumpster on the west side of the apartments there or also on the other side of the street by the assisted living apartments.

There is a new place people hang out, Al and ALma’s.. employees and regular customers are being pulled over due to it being a ‘big’ looking street, but the limit is only 30.

Greenview Blvd and Commerce Blvd

The cop parks his squad car behind the Country Villa Estates (my current residence) apartment complex’s dumpster. Depending on which way traffic is flowing the heaviest determines which side of the dumpster they will park on. The speed limit is 35 but should be 45 in my opinion. I have pulled up a lawnchair to watch the activity at times because it seems to be they catch someone every 5 minutes on average during PM rush hour. Quite a show.
