Lexington Avenue near Englewood Avenue

The trap is on the west side of Lexington Avenue, aimed at motorists who have just come over a steep hill and are coming down the other side.

Shepard Road near Otto Street

Saint Paul, MinnesotaMar 05, 20040 Comments

Squad car sits just east of the Otto and Shepard Road crossing in the St Paul bound direction. He sits just under the grain elevator crossing structure on the second bend of the "S" curve. You do not see him until you clear the first curve and it’s too late. Major issue is the the road changes from 50 to 45 at Otto and if you do like everyone else, your 5-9 over the 50 limit become 10-14 over real quick and he’s got you. The 45MPH sign is just before the Otto/Shepard intersection traffic light and you have a tendancy to not notice it since you’re paying attention to the traffic signal right behind it.

Marshall Avenue near Missippi River Road

Saint Paul, MinnesotaMar 01, 20040 Comments

Radar enforcement on Marshall Ave facing eastbound as you come over the bridge from Lake Street in Minneapolis. They’ll have three or four squad cars in the church parking lot (just east of the river road) and a cop will stand in the street and direct cars into the lot who exceed the limit (35 MPH). Only seen them do this a couple times, but they nabbed a *lot* of cars.

State Highway 61 near Hoyt Street

Saint Paul, MinnesotaDec 03, 20030 Comments

An unmarked police car sits on Hoyt St and can only be seen from half a block away.

Larpenteur Avenue near Edgerton Street

Saint Paul, MinnesotaDec 03, 20030 Comments

Unmarked police car will sit at apartment complex drive way where he can barely be seen. It does not help that he is located right after you cross the top of a hill.
