Berkeley, Missouri Speed Traps
I-170… period!
Anywhere on the northbound side from just north of Page where 170 goes over a hill and under Midland all the way to the Nyflot overpass.
Southbound side seems to provide nice hideouts from just past Airport Rd all the way to Page Blvd.
This is actually within several townships but it doesn’t matter – when they need revenue, a trap shows up on 170, sometimes multiple traps. I have gotten multiple tickets in various locations and with moving radar as well. I’ve also gotten a DWI at 2am because I was stupid enough to text while driving and crossed a lane line – just cause for a pullover! And they are there, trust me!
Frost Avenue near Hanley Road
Sits on the Frost Liquor lot behind the building
Interstate 70 near Hanley Road
I have seen this speedtrap for the last 3 or 4 months. Going westbound Interstate 70, the Berkeley crusier will sit around blinding curve right after Hanley Road. The Berkeley police seem to sit on this stretch of westbound-eastbound traffic from the Hanley Road exit on Interstate 70 to the Lambert-St.Louis Airport exit. This stretch is usually in high enfornment during evening rush hour, friday nights, weekends and holidays. They want your money. Use Caution. Be Alert.
J,S, McDonnald Boulevard near Behind Airport
This road has more than one speed zone in this stretch
