New Bloomfield, Missouri Speed Traps

New Bloomfield cops are always looking to give anyone and everyone a ticket for anything!! I have been pulled over twice for crossing the center line!!

This bit of road which begins at the exit to New Bloomfield from Hwy 54 and then runs West through town and splits with Hwy J going North Towards Guthrie is watched whenever the town needs some income. New Bloomfield will typically hire a new batch of 3 or 4 law enforcement wannabe’s who couldn’t cut it in a real force to go out and sit in nice hide spots along the section that runs through town. Areas to watch are the school parking lot, and the side street especially the ones close to the town edge.

Speed tolerance is minimal I have been stopped for going less than 5 miles per hour over the 35mph limit simply because and I quote "You didn’t slow down when you saw me so you obviously have no respect".

There used to be a billboard from a local restaurant warning travelers of the speed trap but the mayor finally bought the property and took it down.

Office will sit just inside of city limits over a ridge. You will not see him until you are 100 yards away from him.
