O'Fallon, Missouri Speed Traps

The State Hwy Patrol always sit between the lanes between Wentzville and Wright City. The speed limit changes at the "Charlies" sign from 65 to 70 (Lincoln County line). No where in St Charles County is higher than 65 MPH.

O’fallon PD will sit in the parking lot next to the QT on Mexico road. There have been numerous times were people have been cited with speeding infractions.

Ofallon police will laser the rear of your car going east sometimes West.They are on top of the overpass on the side you will not see. This is why they shoot the rear of your car! Watch out for the trap. Ofallon will run this sting about once a week. They will have 5 are more chase cars on the right side of the highway about 1/4 mile away from the laser point. I’ve seen a cop on the side of Bryan with his lights off in the late evening shooting Ka. Speed limit is 40, which isn’t too bad for the road, but watch out.

Police will sit in Hope High School parking lot(way in the back, so as to be unseen) and nail anyone doing over 30. Speed limit here is 25. Speed limit is not necessarily unrealistic, but this is what amounts to a main road, heavily traversed because of the woodlawn overpass crossing 70. O fallon police regulary stop older or beat-up looking vehicles, and will very often ask to search vehicle, with little to no reason. The sure fire to avoid this? SLOW DOWN!
