O'Fallon, Missouri Speed Traps
I-70 East & West between I-79 Exit and Bryan Road Exit
I’ve seen as many as ten Highway Patrol cars waiting to catch speeders — they caught a friend of mine for 4 miles over the speed limit! These people are verbally abusive and demand to search anyone who appears to under 30 years of age!
Main Street
The speedlimit is 30, but it is hard not to go over it because the farther you go out the higher it gets. The cops like to camp out in O’Fallon plaza(the one behind the Sonic’s).
Wing Haven Blvd, between N & Hwy 40 interchange
Limit was reduced to 35 since Hwy 40 exit opened. Officers post anywhere along this section, mostly near 40. Cover the northbound traffic at the bottom of the hill, or at Phenix Rd. Use hand-held radar. Most coverage during rush-hours.
Highway K and N
Well, it’s in the Twin Chimneys subdivision, where there are many houses, say 500+, and you have a clubhouse for everyone to share and say there’s always a cop car sitting in the parking lot behind some trees. The speed limit is 25, but some citizens choose to go like 40. I personally haven’t gotten caught yet, but I was very close to it. I see someone get pulled over atleast every day. WARNING!
