Interstate 680 near Right near West Center going both north and south bound
Do not speed I680 crossing West Center going north or south bound. When exiting I680 to get on to the L street exits just over West Center going south the speed limit drops to 50 mph.
90th Street
Do not speed on Blondo. The speed limit is 35 mph. Heavy enforcement from 90th and Blondo all the way up to 72nd and Blondo — usually at night.
Street near Railroad Crossing over 120th Street
Just North of the Railroad bridge north of I Street on 120th and Center, motorcycle police hide their bikes and wait for a bike cop another half mile north to radar Southbound traffic on 120th Street. When you get almost to the RR bridge they jump out and get you. The guy doing the radar up on the north side of Mary Our Queen’s lot is visible, but there are no turnoffs to get away if he catches you on radar speeding. Then the guys down the hill hide on the west side of 120th in the neighborhood turnoff just before the RR trestle and jump out and bust everyone. I’ve seen this not a lot, but they always do it the same way.
State Highway 75 near Q and L Street
Going North on 75 between the Q and L street exits. This does not happen very often, but when it is there, you won’t know until it is to late.
Dodge Street near Interstate 680
This is a trap on West bound Dodge Street near I-680 on and off ramps just east of 114th Street. Police sit on the median in a 35 mph construction zone (it’s a huge viaduct project, it won’t be done for years). It is usually a large sting, 4-6 police cars are involved.
