Henderson, Nevada Speed Traps
Volunteer and Henderson Airport
Motorcycles hide in the walking path, behind trees and some even sit parked in the open road, but it’s too late once you see him.
Volunteer and new BiCentennial Parkway road extension
The new leg addition to reach Bicentennial at the new Volunteer intersection behind the M Casino. They sit as you are approaching the stupid 35 mile to 15 mile curve that is very dangerous.
On Horizon Ridge .5 mile east of Green Valley Parkway
Monitored by motorcycle at bottom of hill going eastbound on Horizon Ridge. Speed zone is 35. Coasting downhill you are going 45.
Bottom of Black Mountain / Horizon Ridge Parkway
Same as always – impossible to slow-down from EITHER direction. “Ponch-n-John wannabees” tucked-in tight behind wall on IRIDESCENT STREET in EAGLE CREST community. Be very careful – they nailed me for 5 mph. over (plus an embarassing, mid-day uneccessary sobriety check).
Auto Show Drive/Eastgate Road
The Henderson police force patrols Eastgate Rd. nearly daily and sits along side the road just off Eastgate in parking lots, etc. just waiting for someone to speed by in a 35 mph zone that is hardly inhabited. Easy money for the police department!!! Speed zone on Auto Show Dr. is only 25!!!
