Anytime after 9 PM during summer months, local PD will be on the lookout for people doing anything wrong between main street and The Wolfetrap, heading towards back bay. This is a huge DUI arrest area.

Rt 28 South starts a long hill just before this junction.If
you don’t really hit the brakes you will not be able to slow
enough through this intersection. Out of state plates are especially subject to enforcement

Village police frequently sit near the entrance to this tourist village very near a sign on Route 28 that says "Wolfeboro – The Oldest Summer Resort In America." As well, they also patrol with moving radar, Route 109 North leaving and entering the village. Beware.
