Holland Brook Road

Branchburg, New JerseyMay 10, 20080 Comments

As you cross/turn off Route 202 and you go up Holland Brook Road on the way to Whiton Elementary School, there will occasionally be a bored Branchburg cop at the top of the hill, right before Whiton Road. The cop will be totally invisible as you’re going up the hill, but once it levels off, you will see him/her.

If you’re going any faster than 25mph as you’re coming up that hill, you’re toast!

US Highway 202 North and South near Between West County Drive and Whiton Road

Branchburg, New JerseyMay 10, 20080 Comments

Mostly at night, Branchburg cops will sit without their lights on in the U turn lanes by Holland Brook Road on Route 202 (both in the north and south directions).

They also sit without their lights on on the north side of Route 202 in between the Getty Station and Whiton Road. They perch right inside the big PSE&G substation lot, waiting for unwitting drivers first coming into town!

55mph all the way on Route 202 in Branchburg! Especially at night! I’m a local. I know how unforgiving these cops are! They have nothing better to do than to give tickets! You will get one too!

Harlan School Road near Readington Road

Branchburg, New JerseyApr 30, 20080 Comments

The police sit behind trees on township property. If you are coming from Readington Rd you can usually see them but if you are coming from Stony Brook Road they are totally hidden. The speed limit is artificially low (25 mph)because there are very few houses on that road.

Old York Rd. Road near State Highway Rt. 206

Branchburg, New JerseyDec 12, 20070 Comments

Police sit in the parking lot of the Firehouse and catch drivers running through the short light at 202 either from the other side by the Police Station or when you’re in the turn lane from Flemington turning left onto Old York Rd. You can’t see the police until you have already run the light.
