Clark, New Jersey Speed Traps

The police park their cars in the driveways of some of the homes along the road in unmarked cars, so you don’t see the cops till you’re right on top of them. The speed limit is 45 in Scotch Plains, but once you go over the bridge it drops to 25, and they’re right there! If the light is green at the bottom of the bridge people just keep going at the same speed, and they always get caught which is why they’re there!

Beware of Lake ave and Featherbed Roads. They have a guy in an SUV who lives to give you a ticket. He loves to be on the bottom of the hill on Lake Ave, by the boader of Colonia. he also parks on Featherbed Road, by the Edison boarder. Clark also doen’t let you go to night court if you get a ticket during the day. They make you stand outside the prosecutor’s office for a couple of hours so you can hope to plead your ticket down.

the last spot for Troopers to hide for a while going north. About 2 miles south of exit 135. U-turn in central median. Hidden by brush and a hill until very close.
