US Highway 19 South near Just Prior to Entry to Parkway
LOE will sit (Usually Motorcycle patrol) near entrance to the NJ Parway South and shoot radar at cars just as the crest the hill and then signal them off the road. Speed limit on 19S is 55 until you get near this location where it chages to 50. Early Spring – to Early Summer seem to be time of trap set-up.
US Highway Route 21 SOUTH,north near overpass ABOVE
Cop shoots radar (KA),X band LOOK UP ,this is the overpass that is directly in front of the UNION ave bridge that goes into Rutherford,NJ.Anyways they SIT and nail you past the overpass,a cop sometimes sits on the ramp PAST the overpass and gets you down the road!Same as my Route 3 post,guess they read this?
Brighton Road near Mt. Prospect Street
Speed limit is 25, PERIOD. Ignore the jerk on your bumper because he won’t pay your ticket!
Colfax Avenue near State Highway 46W and 19S
As soon as you come of any of the highways 46E or 19S and the speed limit after the light is 25MPH. Just a money maker for the town… One side of the street is just factories…
State Route 3 West near Off Bridge
if you are driving down route 3 going West cops shoot radar off bridge, most people dont look at the overheard roads. They usually have police cars setup past Fette Ford aka Route 46West so you think you are fine, then you get pulled over. See a cop on a bridge? Take that GSP exit! Also watch going East past that grove street Entrance ramp so you dont see him.
