Old Trenton Road past Ancil Davidson

Cranbury, New JerseyJul 08, 20102 Comments

Limit was unfairly reduced from 50 to 35 less than a month ago, and I suspect that police will be hiding in the park near the area late at night. This is a two mile long section of wide-open semi country road with few houses directly on it, so few people follow the new limit as a study determined the 85th percentile speed was close to 55 mph. No doubt that these revenue collectors/safety mavens will obsessively patrol this area within a few months. Avoid this road like the plague. Cut through the small 25 zone on Cranbury Neck Rd. to access 130 instead, but be careful, they will get you there too.

North Main Street near Goodwin Road

Cranbury, New JerseyMar 21, 20080 Comments

A police car often sits facing north right after the small hill after Goodwin Road, so by the time you see them, it may be too late. This is also right when the speed limit changes from 40 to 25. They have recently incresed their presence in this location, and usually wait there when cranbury school opens, around 8 am, and ends, around 3 pm, but are also there at other parts of the day from time to time.

Cranbury Circle near South Main Street

Cranbury, New JerseyMar 21, 20080 Comments

A police car usually waits in the parking lot of the Cranbury Service Center (with his head lights completely shining forward for everyone to see for some reason) right next to the Cranbury Circle. He waits for people to not come to a complete stop when arriving at the stop signs in the circle.

Patrol cars sit in various spots of this road waiting for you to speed by.

Old Trenton Road near State Route 130

Cranbury, New JerseyJan 20, 20071 Comments

Turning right onto Old Trenton Road from Route 130. Do Not move into the shoulder on 130. It is illegal! You must stay in the lane and turn right once you get to the light. A cop will constantly circle there and pull over 10 people in an hour.
