You need to be careful when driving up and down Rt. 55. There’s a hill in the median between exits 56 and 58 that used to be a common hiding place…although I’ve seen less activity there in the past year. Another place to watch on Rt. 55 is right before/right after exit 50 while driving south.

Just past exit 22/23, about a mile before you get the split at Route 295/Route 42, there is a huge patch of grass and trees off to the right. Since it sits on a curve, you can’t see if there is a cop there until he’s already seen you. The area is big enough that a policeman could hide his car in several spots.
