Route 1&9 through Linden is designated as a ‘Safe Corridor Zone’ and will be enforceable as soon as the signs go up. There are state grants for overtime for radar enforcement; fines and penalties are doubled in these ‘safe corridors’ so if you have a heavy foot a litle forwarning may save you a lot of money in your wallet.

Usually cops sit in the McManus School parking lot area although they can be at any side street from Raritan Rd to Route 27. I hear they only pull you over at 36 and higher. 25mph zone.
