Police officers like to park in the American Legion parking lot or wait by the car wash for people to speed. The speed limit is 30 on this part of main street, as you are heading to the light past the American Legion heading out of town. The speed limit goes to 40 after the American Legion and people usually speed up well before this, so do not speed or you will get caught. The cops are usually there at night, or late at night, but I have seen them there at all hours. Watch out because they can also get you coming into town, heading towards the pizza place and CVS. People will speed up in the left lane and cut into the right lane, because the left is a left turn only. Go into the right lane earlier and do not cut people off because they will get you for speeding and careless driving.
