Catch cars leaving 35 mph speed zone to 25 mph speed zone in front of St. Josephs High School
Lake Avenue near State Route 27
Police wait in Edgar Middle School Parking lot and point the radar down Whittman Avenue. Heading South on Lake Avenue, you have to curve right and the name of the road changes to Whittman Avenue.
Woodbridge Avenue near Grove Street is the cross street… and from there on until you come to Main St.
when your coming off Rt. 1 onto Woodbridge Avenue, just after Rossevelt Park entrance on your right make sure you go the speed limit. If it says 25………do 24. Metuchen Police are everywhere since it’s such a small town.
Durham Avenue near Hampton Street
This is a two way trap. They hide in the industrial entrences and exits because of the bend in the road. Comeing off Rt 287 New Durham is 35 and only on sign for 25 before you get to the bend. The second is the industrial exit closest to central ave light, they see you making the illegal right hand turn.
