Rt. 295

Mount Laurel, New JerseyNov 05, 20030 Comments

There is a 10 mile interval of construction between Moorestown and Woodcrest station. The speed drops from 65mph to 45mph. There are many lane changes switching from one side of the road to the other. Police cruisers sit after the median bushes waiting for any type of speeding violation. At any given point of the day during this slow stretch of land, you can find at least 4 cruisers sitting in the median or pulling someone over on the side of the road. Be careful with even going with the flow of the traffic because they will pull you over anyway.

Mount Laurel Police drive black and white cruisers with low profile lights. Like to cruise in traffic. Are is heavy due to I-295 and NJ Turnpike offramps in their juridiction. Common to see stops for left lane, no signal, and median violations. Also ticketing for passing around stopped cars due to the large number of vehicles in onramps.
