Peapack, New Jersey Speed Traps

pg cops sit on main st(county route 512) backed into the driveway of #99. this is near the limestone cafe. they get you in both directions. their dark colored cars make them difficult to see, especially at night! speed limit is 25 through most of the town. yeah, try maintaining that speed! although they have a rather tough reputation, i understand that they will give some grace, you can get away with about 13 over, 38mph in a 25 zone. dont try anything more though or you will most definately get busted! happy motoring…….

This trap is a good one! (if there is such a thing!) It is along Route 206 just north of Pfizer Drive. The cops sit on the grass right before the Peapack-Gladstone bank and they use the rear radar antenna to get you. They sit ther so as to "TRAP" motorists trying to merge infront of other cars.

Officers are all over the place, and enforce the 25 mph speed limit as though it was a personal matter. Do not try to talk your way out, as this only seems to annoy them and you may end up with other tickets as well
