Adams Street near Murray Avenue
The police will park on Adams street a few houses before Carlton Club apartments. By the time you see the cop he is already getting out of his car to pull you over. The speed limit is 25 so be careful. They usually stay out there until 10am.
Kossuth Street near Murray Avenue
Kossuth Street is a well known shortcut for the traffic light at the corner of Stelton Rd & Old New Brunswick Rd. Police park under the willow tree just south of Murray Ave, and catch people as they accelerate over 25mph. In addition, the Township enacted a ‘No Left Turn 4-6PM’ ordinance for this intersection. This is a known revenue generator for Piscataway; rare is the day that you don’t see an officer handing out ‘coupons’ for this infraction. Each results in a $200 windfall for the town.
Centennial Avenue near Stelton Road
Going down Centennial towards Stelton road police, usually 2 cars are parked hidden by the Starbucks shopping center. This is known to be used mainly at the end of each month and tickets can range from no seat-belt to having your car impounded
Washington Avenue near Subway
Police hide behind Krauser’s in the Subway parking lot and a lot of times stand near the roadway and catch people whose cars are illegal. What ever you do, do not make a left turn out of Dunkin Donuts to the light or they will get you.
Brotherhood Street near Fellowship Lane
Going to Edison on the right, cops stand out of their cars and point radar gun at you. Same as other direction. Posted 25 MPH, but people from Edison go faster.
