State Route 23 Northbound near Regency House Hotel
After the Regency House hotel and EZ-Pizza, a Pequonnock cruiser is often parked on the right side of the road in the grass, on a small stretch of road after the EZ-Pizza and other small stores, and before the HESS station. Keep speeds at 55 or below. (50 limit)
State Route 23 Southbound near Newark-Pompton Turnpike
After you pass the intersection of Newark-Pompton Tpk on your right and a U-turn on the left, you will go up over a bridge. Speed limit is 50. On the other side of the bridge, down the road 100 feet on the shoulder will often be a Pequonnock Twp cruiser checking speeds. State Route 23 Southbound near Alexander Avenue
On Rt 23 South, before the Alexander Ave intersection, and after the last gas station on the right keep speeds below 55. The limit is 50. Pequonnock Twp cruisers sit on the grass on the right side of the road, right after the Alexander ave u-turn on the right and right before the actual intersection. Be careful at night especially, because Pequonnock uses a Dodge Charger unit painted flat black, and you will not see it. I am not sure about radar, but I am sure that they use Laser. So slow down before you pass the last gas station before the light. I got clocked at 65 in a 50 here from around the gas station I believe.
