Ringwood, New Jersey Speed Traps
Conklintown Road near Poplar Crossing
Road is on a steep slope, is windy, plenty of hiding spots. Police hiding up and down the street. A motorcycle officer sits in my driveway, blocked by a large evergreen. Usually he is there less than a minute, any car that goes by over 35MPH is ticketed.
Skyline Lakes Drive near Skyline Lake
Since the speed limit has changed from 35 mph to 25 mph around the lake the cops are constantly after speeders.
Oakwood Drive near Skyline Drive
The Ringwood police hide at the top of Oakwood Drive and also on Beech Court, to catch the speeders on Skyline Drive.
Skyline Drive near Oakwood Drive
Police cars will hang out on the grass patch on the corner of these two roads and go on pull-over sprees, pulling over any car that goes above the speed limit (35). Literally anything over the speed limit. Do 36mph and you’re running a good chance of getting a ticket. My advice: downshift and ride your brakes the whole way. They often do these on weekends, but I have also seen them on weekday afternoons.
Skyline Drive and Rt 511
Officers are out day/night. They use marked cars, unmarked cars and even motorcycles. If you go over the posted limit – you will get a ticket!
