Between Exits 117 & 114 On GSP South
3 Police cars wait a block away stopping cars turning left onto RT 10 from Commerce Blvd. claiming you were spotted running a red light by a spotter at the Hess station. I saw the light turn yellow as I finished the turn. the officer let me off with a warning and a ticket for not waring a seatbelt, which I was wearing, no one leaves without some kind of ticket.
Route 10 East at the Roxbury/Mount Freedom border
Route 10 is a 4 lane, divided highway with a 50 MPH speed limit at that point. Just before the long uphill stretch on the east bound side (where folks typically speed up to 55-60 due to the good visibility and long, straight stretch) Roxbury police set up at the abandoned Shell station, or thereabouts, looking for "aggressive drivers" – including speeders, seat-belt law-breakers, or whatever they can think of.
