Toms River, New Jersey Speed Traps

This is a MAJOR speed trap especially during the months school is in session. Cops are in the Intermediate school parking lot waiting to pounce!

Ok. This is mainly for people who will be passing Cedar Grove Elementary School on the right side. (Going Southbound toward Bay Avenue). After passing Clifton and the traffic signal, there is a realtive new development on the right. Near the end of that development is a small cul-de-sak street on the leFort Just Beyond that street is a large drainage ditch that is fenced off. There is a dirt spot blocked by trees in which a cop hides on the left hoping to catch speeders while children are getting out of school and the speed limit drops to 25. The normal speed limit is 35, while kids are present 25, and the trap is located on a downhill road so be cautious.

There is an Island Heights cop that sits in the Exxon gas staion on Route 37 and Vaughn Ave. Anytime you run the red light or go by a little faster then your suppose to, you can bet on getting pulled over. Speed limit on 37 is 50 miles and hour so make sure you stick to this in that area.
