Santa Fe, New Mexico Speed Traps
112 County Road 58 (Arroyo Hondo Road)
112 County Road 58 (Arroyo Hondo Road). Artificially low speed limit on this road. County Sherriff speed trap officer in vehicle.
St Francis Drive
Camera ticket. speed is 45. I have never been able to
go over that speed as the traffic is bumper to bumper
all the time in Santa Fe. How do you fight a ticket w/
a camera?? Supposedly I was going 58 miles an hour…
totally impossible in Santa Fe. The only place you can
go that fast is I-25
Galisteo between SanMateo & Columbia
White van sits on the (east) side of Galisteo between the curb & an adobe wall. This location is in a low place between the higher inclines of San Mateo & Columbia.
Southbound 285 coming in to Santa Fe
After you pass the 599 bypass on 285, there is a long grade into town. At the bottom there is often a police radar camera in an Explorer, white. Also sometimes police wait at the bottom of the hill scanning with laser or radar.
84/285 North bound lane, after Tano Rd overpass
A photo SUV is sitting, lights out on the North bound shoulder of 84/285 after the Tano Rd overpass and before the Tesuque Village/Opera exit. The radar detector did not pick up a signal, but the camera is flashing at passing motorists. Not sure if the speed limit is 55 or 65 in that location.
