This is definitely a very recent trap. NYPD has a marked car sitting on the side on Prospect Park Southwest just past the Windsor Terrace intersection. Make sure you are below 30mph.

At different locations between 30th street and 50th street on 4th avenue in Brooklyn, I have observed marked Impala and Grand Marquis cars waiting for a bait and quite a few speeders getting pulled over. Almost all the cars pulled over that I have seen look very flashy with gigantic spoilers, body kits, etc. The speed limit is 30 mph yet I drive regularly at 40 mph in my non descript car without getting pulled over. So if your car is flashy or is tinted, make sure you are below 30 mph. I once saw a flashy civic at almost half my speed behind me getting pulled over yet I passed by with scant attention. Also, watch out for the red light camera on 4th avenue and 41st street.

Quite a few times, I have observed unmarked Grand Marquis cars with radar guns. The location varies anywhere between Avenue N and Avenue S. The speed limit is 30mph. I believe 40mph is speed at which you might get pulled over. Also watch out for a red light camera at the point where Ocean parkway end and Prospect Expressway starts.
