Fishkill, New York Speed Traps
US Highway I-84 Westbound near Exit Number 17
NY State Police SUV at Top of Hill near cell tower before the East Fishkill Rest Stop. Was able to visibly see him and slow down in below the hill. My Escort 8500 gave some initial chirps of KA band as I neared then wammo got hit with LASER,lucky was down to 50mph at the time (first time in NY in a long time I’ve detected this). Trooper had side window open with laser gun pointed down the hill at traffic coming up.
Old school house Road
The state troopers park on either side of the road in the trail parking areas on the rt 9d end. They try to get the "speeders" that are going to the prison for visiting hours.
OLD GLENHAM ROAD Street near RT 52 Street
They sit behind trees about half mile off Rt 52
Taconic Parkway near Interstate 84
As you drive north on the Taconic(They will set one south bound from time to time) and approch interstate 84 near the under pass, the NY State troopers sit daily. If you travel this route expect to see a trooper near this underpass. Any speed above 65 on the Taconic will be ticketed. Troop K is 1/10ths of a mile from here just off of an access road north of the on ramp(84 to Taconic) before Route 52
Snook Road near US Highway 9
Usually positioned east on Snnok Road as one rises on the hill, day and evening.
