Scotia, New York Speed Traps

As you travel south on Rt. 50 Village Police will pick you up as you enter the Villiage. You will come over a brige and under a railroad overpass and enter the villiage where the speed limit drops from 40mph to 30mph. Police sit in the dark parking lot of the funeral home on the left side of Rt. 50.

As you travel west over the Western Gateway Bridge, the speed limit drops from 40mph to 30 mph as soon as you are off the bridge. Villiage Police sit in the Firestone parking lot on the right side. They have nothing better to do and will write tickets all day.
