Garner, North Carolina Speed Traps
New Rand Road near US 70
Usually sitting at Holman Dr. every couple of months to slow traffic down in this 35 mph section. Lots of people use this cut through road to get from NC 50 over to US 70.
E. Garner Road between Jones Sausage Rd. and Creech Rd.
Police usually park right across from cement company. Speed limit during this stretch goes from 45 to 35, but the sign is unnoticeable.
US Highway 70 near Interstate 40
Traffic comes off of I-40 after traveling 65 miles per hour onto a 45 mile per hour US 70. It is a four lane highway with very limited speed limit signs spaced far apart.
Timber Drive near Aversboro Road
The speed limit drops from 45 to 35 and then goes up to 45 about a mile later. Police will hide along the side neighborhood roads and monitor traffic.
State Highway 70 near Interstate 70
If you are coming back for the cap city and heading in a goldsboro direction on the interstate, you will see a sign saying exit to goldsboro, take the second exit, cause if you take the first it will run you through garner. The second you get of the interstate the speed will drop and raise from 55 to 45 to 35 over and over. Cops will hide in center of road with all lights off and pick you off.
