Boardman, Ohio Speed Traps

The state police will be sitting in the Forest Lawn cemetary entrance just south of the Glenn area on Sr. 7 Market street.

A cruiser taking radar is often seen at night hidden in the Boardman Center Middle School parking lot, across from the Southern Park Mall on SR-7 Market Street. This area is where the speed limit changes from 40 MPH to 45 MPH (going South). Do not go 45 MPH until you reach the 45 MPH marker. 50 MPH and slower is OK in the 45 zone.

A police cruiser is sometimes seen in a private driveway just South of Boardman High School on Glenwood. Sometimes other cruisers will be hiding in side streets as well to catch multiple speeders. I’ve seen them hang around the high school around 2:00 – 2:30 PM in order to catch speeding students on their way home. Speed limit is 35 MPH, but 40 and below is usually safe.

A police cruiser will sometimes be hidden back in the long driveway of Ziebart’s Car Care service on SR-7 Market Street taking radar. Speed limit is 45 MPH.
