Brooklyn Heights, Ohio Speed Traps
Granger Rd. between Valley Belt and Schaaf
Officer learns out the window shooting radar or laser from a private business parking lot. He appears to be clocking both directions on Granger. Mind you, Granger is a four-lane, divided highway with a speed limit of only 35. The local finest are using this to their advantage. Another disgusting cash machine.
Schaff Rd. near Granger Rd.
Sits on the Granger Road ramp to Schaff, clocking traffic eastbound Schaff traffic which just happens to be at the bottom of hill at this point. He sits far back on the ramp and is also hidden by trees. I was busted for 30 in a 25. Careful!
Schaff Road Between Tuxedo Ave. & Granger
Officer sits in private citizen’s driveways along this stretch shooting radar. Lots of turns and foliage along this stretch make him hard to spot. 25 and strictly enforced!
Spring Road
Sits in private business driveways and lots just south of village limits on Spring Road. 25 MPH through this business district. Expect him there around 4:30 when all the businesses let out!
SR-176 between Denison Ave. and I-480
WATCH OUT, especially if you are travelling south on this stretch of roadway. Cruisers, usually highway patrol, will sit under overpasses or on the shoulder with their lights off, usually at night. I travel this stretch at least weekly, and every single time I go through here there is always a cruiser with someone pulled over.
