Chardon, Ohio Speed Traps

Park Avenue in Chardon, Ohio is a road that when accessed from Rt44 or Wilson Mills Road is downhill both ways(like an elongated U). Police sit at the bottom behind a building. Problem is the speed limit on this road is 25MPH which is very unrealistic. It has some residential and few small businesses. If you are barely moving at the top of the hill and dont touch the gas you will be doing 45 by the time you reach bottom giving you enough momentum to get part way up the hill on the other end. Unfortunately because of the speed limit you will ride your brake the whole way down and gas it to get up the hill. Not very friendly for your car or fuel mileage.
