Officer parks on side near I-71/I-75 split and targets cars in outside lane as they try to merge over to right to stay on I-75. In moderate to heavy traffic, it is sometimes necessary to speed up to find a place to move over into correct lane. That is when they will target you with the laser.

Coming N and S on 275, there is about a 1/2 mile stretch by rt. 42 where local Sharonville cops sit. They are not there all the time, but fairly frequently. Also beware as you continue East on 275, Blue Ash cops like to sit by the 275 and 71 intersection. The limit is 60 through that stretch.

River Road near State Street

Cincinnati, OhioJul 07, 20060 Comments

River Road, under the Waldvogel Viaduct, near the old Amtrak station. Coming west, the speed limit drops from 50 to 35 mph just as you start down the ramp towards State. Copper sits under viaduct on side street between buildings. Also, a motorcycle cop sits at the end of Gest street ramp facing west.

Interstate 71 near Interstate 275

Cincinnati, OhioApr 07, 20060 Comments

Near the intersection of the 275 loop and 71 the Blue Ash officers sit just south of 275 interchange going southbound and just North of the exchange going northbound. There is a bend in the road southbound and they sit just beyond this bend. Northbound they will hide on the right side behind the overpass supports. Interstate 71 passes through Blue Ash for maybe a 1/2 mile and the officers take advantage of it.

Interstate I-71 near Interstate I-71

Cincinnati, OhioMar 27, 20060 Comments

Trap located just south of Fields-Ertl Rd. exit, which is only a mile or two north of the Loop 275 exits. Normally, it is an Ohio state trooper that is set up in the median but occasionally one of the local cops sets up shop there too. He’s normally watching northbound traffic on I-71 but occasionally, there are two cop cars, one watching northbound and the other watching southbound. Many times they’re only observing without active Radar but most of the time they’re actively buzzing traffic with either Radar or Laser guns. Speed limit is 65 but traffice often edges up to 75 mph or more in this area.
