Cincinnati, Ohio Speed Traps
Plainfield Road Street
This is the section in front of raymond walters college in blue ash. The speed goes down to 20 in the morning and there is typically a cop sitting right down the road in a drive way behind some trees. I see someone pulled over almost every single morning.
Woodruff Road near Elderwood Drive
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department is now patrolling Woodruff Road on a regular basis. Be Careful and Slow down! They will get you. I’ve seen the Deputy sit near the hill in the mid to late afternoon hours. There have been several deaths resulting from drivers hill-hopping, and speeding along Woodruff. The residents of this road are tired of the speeding problem and have been complaining a lot recently. Watch out for K-band radar. That is the radar band the Sheriff’s Department uses.
Queen City Avenue near Between Quebec Ave. & Grand Ave. Avenue
Cincinnati Police (white Ford Crown Vic) hide in various residents’ driveways on right side of Queen City Ave. (between Quebec and Grand Ave.) targeting southbound motorists (heading toward town). Always uses LIDAR (Laser). Watch out! Hard to notice until it’s too late. Mainly found during morning rush hour.
Montgomery Road near Kennedy Avenue
Slow down when driving on Montgomery Road through Silverton. The speed limit drops suddenly from 35 to 25. There are ALWAYS police parked or cruising for speeders. It isn’t really a trap, it’s just a highly enforced 1 mile strip where you can get caught off guard.
Interstate 75
He was sitting at the convex part of the highway, so the only way to spot him was after I passed – very well hidden.
