State Highway 33 near Lockbourne Rd. Crossing

Fairfield, OhioFeb 10, 20070 Comments

If you are going Southbound, on the right hand side of the freeway where it is possible to turn onto Lockbourne Rd., the State Highway Patrol vehicles will sit on the declined hill and shoot LIDAR into the southbound lane. They aim all the way down by the curve that 33 takes into Lockbourne. I was clocked at 84mph. (60mph zone).

S Gilmore Road near Pepper Ridge Drive

Fairfield, OhioApr 24, 20040 Comments

The City of Fairfield Police like to sit at either one of the 2 entrances to Pepper Ridge at S. Gilmore Rd, usually in the afternoon. They are hard to spot unless you have a radar detector. If I’m going northbound on S. Gilmore just north of Mack Road I can sometimes pickup the radar signal on my detector before dropping in between the hills. I would recommend slowing down to the speed limit after you pass Resor going northbound or after you pass Fairfield Pointe Apartments going southbound.
