Dayton Oxford Road near US Highway State Route 123
Policeman is hidden on the other side of big evergreen trees in car with radar gun. The road is as straight as an arrow. The speed limit used to be 45mph. There was a terrible accident about 12 years back that caused the death of an entire family. Since then the speed limit was changed to 35 mph. Warren county had to pay an enormous lawsuit to the family of the victoms. The county was instructed to put metal rails up on the riverside of the road to prevent anyone going into the river. I feel that the Govt. officials are trying to re-coop some of the money. When you are driving down the road and see the cruiser, it’s to late. He will get you for five over the limit. I wish the state would come in a re-evaluate the situation. There is no reason that anyone should not be able to go 45 or maybe even 50 down this long straight road.
